					<description>Thanks for the shout out and the education on how hotels work their Internet access deals. It jives with how they handle TV and phone service for the most part.

I don't beleive though that I suggested that bandwidth or access should be free? Quite the opposite. I pay for my hotspot access via Boingo, T-Mobile in the USA with monthly accounts. I want to pay for my access, just like I pay for a bed, a shower and towels. So when I'm in a hotel I pay for the access too. And there's the rub. I'm paying and getting the same QoS as a free hotspot would be required to offer.. NONE.

At the hotels I stay at, all quality, AAA rated brands of Starwood, Hilton, Accor, Marriott, etc. I expect the experience to be the same. But it's not. The issue though is where the brands strive for consistency on check in/check out experience, a consistent in the room experience like the Heavenly Bed from Westin, etc., they sadly have not taken the same approach with Internet access.
